José Andrés was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, before making Guanacaste home with his family. Having experienced that transition himself, he understands that finding the right property here is about much more than real estate—it’s about finding the right community, lifestyle, and place to call home.
With a background in Business Administration and Finance, an MBA earned in Madrid, and experience with the Global Partnerships team at Real Madrid, José brings a unique combination of strategic thinking, attention to detail, and relationship-building to his work.
He developed his real estate expertise alongside Melanie Engel at Flamingo Beach Realty, gaining hands-on experience in luxury transactions, construction, design, financing, negotiations, and investment strategy.
Today, José sees his role as much more than that of a real estate agent. He is a trusted local advisor who genuinely cares about his clients and the life they are building in Costa Rica.
