Turnkey Homes in the Forest at Reserva Conchal
Sanara is a neighborhood of single-family homes inside Reserva Conchal, the gated resort community near Playa Conchal on Guanacaste's Gold Coast. The homes sit among the trees with forest views, and each has its own private pool. It is a place for people who want a real house with a garden and room for guests, without taking on a custom build.
The first phase of Sanara was completed in 2024 with 30 homes on lots of about 1,620 to 2,375 square meters. Sanara Phase II adds 28 more homes on private homesites. Reserva Conchal developed Sanara with Interra and Michael Greenwald.
Phase I and Phase II
Phase I homes are finished and lived in, so a Phase I purchase is usually a resale from an owner, with the garden already grown in. Phase II is the newer section, where you choose a homesite and plan and the home is built for you. Both phases share the same Reserva Conchal setting and resort amenities.
Sanara Phase II
Phase II has 28 homesites, numbered 31 to 58. Lots range from about 1,522 to 2,266 square meters (roughly 16,400 to 24,400 square feet), which leaves plenty of space for the pool deck, gardens and privacy between neighbors. The homes are turnkey: you choose a homesite and a home plan, and the home is built for you.
Home plans
There are two families of plans, each in a three- or four-bedroom version:
- Standard, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: about 207 m² (2,228 sq ft) of living space
- Standard, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms: about 238 m² (2,562 sq ft) of living space
- Deluxe, 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms: about 292 m² (3,143 sq ft) of living space
- Deluxe, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms: about 330 m² (3,552 sq ft) of living space
Total area, including terraces and outdoor living, is larger: from about 329 m² for the smallest Standard to about 473 m² for the largest Deluxe. Every plan includes a private pool and a garage.

The optional casita
Any plan on any homesite can add a separate guest casita with two bedrooms and one bathroom, about 56 m² (600 sq ft) including its terraces. Owners use it for visiting family, older kids who want their own space, or a home office away from the main house.
Design and Finishes
The developer describes the style as contemporary tropical. In practice that means open living spaces that flow straight out to the pool, shaded courtyards, covered outdoor dining and an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. Life here happens outside as much as inside.
Tropical landscaping and fruit trees are included. Integrated solar is available as an option, and so are furniture and decor packages, which is helpful if you want the home ready to use the day you arrive.
Everyday Life at Sanara
Sanara owners have access to the Reserva Conchal spa and the Beach Club on Playa Conchal, where you can swim, eat lunch on the sand and borrow kayaks or paddle boards.
Inside the gates you also have the 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, tennis and pickleball, trails for walking and biking, and a resort shuttle. Because the homes are set in the forest, early mornings on the terrace come with birdsong and, often, howler monkeys in the trees.
Brasilito village is just outside the gate for everyday shopping. Playa Flamingo and the marina are a short drive away, and Liberia International Airport (LIR) is about 50 minutes by car.
