Brasilito is the most village-like spot on this part of the coast, with fresh fish shops, groceries and outdoor markets close by and Huacas a short drive inland for supermarkets, the 24-hour hospital and everyday services. Buyers who choose it often want local character with Conchal and Flamingo minutes away.
The main choice is between a home in the village, where you can walk to the beach, and a house or lot in a gated community. Catalina Cove, for example, offers large homesites, newer construction and 24/7 security. Ask about road access, title and what is planned nearby, since new development is under way in the area.
